Special Issue: LTD20

The international conference of low temperature detectors (LTD) is a biennial event highlighting the latest developments in the science and technologies in cryogenic detectors and their applications. Low temperature detectors have become one of the key technologies driving paradigm-shifting innovations and fundamental scientific discoveries. The principles of low-temperature detectors benefit from the noble properties of materials and electronics at low temperatures and quantum phenomena at low temperatures. The application of the detectors expands various science fields from single photon detection in quantum communication to detectors for CMB, dark matter, and neutrino studies.
