Abstract
Hypertension in children requires early definitive diagnosis and management to avoid long-term hypertension-mediated organ damage. The diagnosis and management of hypertension is more challenging than in younger adults as hypertension thresholds change with age. With the rising prevalence of obesity, hypertension in children is also increasing. This chapter aims to identify the key points in improving the accuracy of the diagnosis of hypertension in children.
